Sixth or the last reflection on ICT integrated lesson


ICT in teaching has greatly helped the learners to get motivated to carry out the given tasks without any difficulties. It also changed the atmospheres of the classroom completely whenever the ICT aids are introduced in the daily teaching and learning purpose.
On 23rd October, I had a lesson in class VI on the topic Stem and leave plot. It is in the first period of 50 minutes. I recapitulate last lesson and introduced the day’s topic by asking some recall questions. Then I told them to choose two members from team and said that they will find the information on stem and leave from internet and share to other members, as they are done accompany them to office, open the computer and browse the net on the topic. Help them with finding web pages and others.  Rest of them they read the text in the class.
After that the two members from team return back to class and shared what is stem and leave plot how it is plot to their friends. While they share I walked around and listened to them. I have seen they were doing very well as they clear their doubts  and share what is there in the text book too.

In the activity part I asked them to solved questions 1- 2 from practicing and applying. They did immensely well. In the closure also I put on the chart with points on stem and leave plot and make them to read. At same time I encourage them to use their parent’s phone for finding more information on topic they learned in the classes rather than playing games.





Lastly as I mentioned earlier I would love to integrate ict in my lesson to enhance my teaching and learning plus change for learner. Thank you.

Fifth Reflection on ICT integrated lesson.


On 1st and 2nd October, I had a lesson in class V on the topic classifying triangles by side length. It is in the fifth period of 40 minutes. There my lesson objective was the child will be able to define the names of the triangle correctly by looking at the side lengths and talk more about triangles using internet.
After that I introduced the topic by asking some recall questions such as what is a triangle, how many sides and types of triangles through popcorn strategy. Then showed them different types of triangle and asked to name the triangles.

In the activity part I asked them to prepare a presentation on classifying triangles by side lengths in groups. They were asked to browse the internet but we have only two computers some they didn’t get chance there I kept two periods for this topic as I want my children to browse internet more and learn about the topic at the same time let them get used to with ICT. I told them to ask their parents smart phone learn more about the topic. The next day they did presentation on the topic and solved some questions from practicing and applying. They did very well.
Lastly I would love to integrate ict in my lesson to enhance my teaching and learning.As children learn far better and also we can teach through variety. Thank you.
