Sixth or the last reflection on ICT integrated lesson


ICT in teaching has greatly helped the learners to get motivated to carry out the given tasks without any difficulties. It also changed the atmospheres of the classroom completely whenever the ICT aids are introduced in the daily teaching and learning purpose.
On 23rd October, I had a lesson in class VI on the topic Stem and leave plot. It is in the first period of 50 minutes. I recapitulate last lesson and introduced the day’s topic by asking some recall questions. Then I told them to choose two members from team and said that they will find the information on stem and leave from internet and share to other members, as they are done accompany them to office, open the computer and browse the net on the topic. Help them with finding web pages and others.  Rest of them they read the text in the class.
After that the two members from team return back to class and shared what is stem and leave plot how it is plot to their friends. While they share I walked around and listened to them. I have seen they were doing very well as they clear their doubts  and share what is there in the text book too.

In the activity part I asked them to solved questions 1- 2 from practicing and applying. They did immensely well. In the closure also I put on the chart with points on stem and leave plot and make them to read. At same time I encourage them to use their parent’s phone for finding more information on topic they learned in the classes rather than playing games.





Lastly as I mentioned earlier I would love to integrate ict in my lesson to enhance my teaching and learning plus change for learner. Thank you.

Fifth Reflection on ICT integrated lesson.


On 1st and 2nd October, I had a lesson in class V on the topic classifying triangles by side length. It is in the fifth period of 40 minutes. There my lesson objective was the child will be able to define the names of the triangle correctly by looking at the side lengths and talk more about triangles using internet.
After that I introduced the topic by asking some recall questions such as what is a triangle, how many sides and types of triangles through popcorn strategy. Then showed them different types of triangle and asked to name the triangles.

In the activity part I asked them to prepare a presentation on classifying triangles by side lengths in groups. They were asked to browse the internet but we have only two computers some they didn’t get chance there I kept two periods for this topic as I want my children to browse internet more and learn about the topic at the same time let them get used to with ICT. I told them to ask their parents smart phone learn more about the topic. The next day they did presentation on the topic and solved some questions from practicing and applying. They did very well.
Lastly I would love to integrate ict in my lesson to enhance my teaching and learning.As children learn far better and also we can teach through variety. Thank you.

Fourth Reflection on use of ICT in class room teaching.

ICT ( Information and Communication Technology ) facilities have truly evolved and made a drastic change in the world of Education. It is really true that teaching and learning process is much better using ICT facilities  for people involving there, whether a teacher or a learner. I am saying this because when taught  pre primary class using ICT on 20th September in the 3rd period, on Extending pattern they were very happy and excited.

I arranged every thing ready and the began the lesson by revising the last  lesson.Then I talked about colour ,shape and position patterns and also the core of the pattern.After that I introduce the days topic extending the pattern. I explained them what is extending with examples.

Then I let them watch the video clip using the projector.They were watching video clip very attentively.But I found some children face difficult to cope with so, I played the video for once more. At the time I was little worried also as those children who had clear understanding may disturb others but all the children enjoyed for second time also. That is one of the power of ICT  I found.

After that when I asked them to do the task from their activity book they did very well.Using ICT in our lesson really enhance our teaching la.

Third Reflection on ICT integrated lesson


On 6th September, 2019 in the fifth period, I taught class five Mathematics on finding area and perimeter of a rectangle. Before the session the materials were set ready to carry out the lesson effectively. The lesson began with asking what a rectangle is and what do you mean by perimeter? Then recapitulate the last lesson by letting them to share their understanding of the last lesson.

Then I played the video using projector as some of our colleague recommended .Ask children to watch carefully as they have to do the activity after watching the video clip. I found that they are paying full attention and watching the video. Children love to see things by their own eyes.

After watching the video clip the class had questioning and answering task. Children were asked some questions from the video clip. Next they were ask to do question number 1 from practicing and applying on page number 123 as class work. As they carry out the activity, I went around and look at their work they are doing pity good. It seems they enjoyed the lesson and clears with the concept.










I felt that using projector is more convenient for children than laptop or desktop as it has bigger screen and they see very clearly. Thank you for remainder friends. It is very true. Using ICT in our lesson is helpful and fruitful in learning as well as in teaching.

Second Reflection on ICT integrated lesson


On 21st August, 2019 in the first period, I taught class six Mathematics on finding area of Triangle. Before the session the materials were set ready to carry out the lesson effectively. The lesson began with asking what is triangle and types of triangle. Then also revise the last lesson on area of parallelogram. Children share their knowledge of triangle and the last lesson. We stress on the area of parallelogram and the formula A= b x h.

The lesson developments activities begin with attention grabber and followed by instruction for the activities. There were three activities included in the lesson as per the plan. First activity they watched the clip through laptop. I didn’t use the projector as we have less number where they can be comfortable with computer. Then they shared what they understood from the clip and the last they solved the questions from practicing and applying.

 After watching the clip when I listen to each child their sharing they did great job. Many they got concept very clearly that area of triangle is ½ of bh. At the same time they could solve the questions correctly.

By making the use of ICT in the lesson, I have found many children take interest in learning through discussion sharing and so on. They also improve visual skills and on top of that they enjoy the teaching.

Teaching of Rhyme by integrating ICT.

The  ICT integrated lesson I taught in class PP was for teaching rhyme.It was a rhyme called "Here is a Bee Hive" to teach numbers.It contains many difficult wordings also.

In the past years I used to teach the rhymes by writing on chart and singing by myself.This time when I teach from laptops  letting them watch and listen.I have seen vast difference in children's learning and the fastness.When I look back my teaching in past years I have wasted the time.

When I teach through ICT  They can  picked up the words very quickly and same time they learned the meaning of words by looking at characters and pictures . At same time the action they enjoyed so much.

So, I felt and realized that the advantages of ICT in lesson are not only for children to learn fast and easily but it also reduces the teachers burden.Teacher don't have to write on the chart and also explain each and every word.
